Running the model for uplift force with spring is not appropriate, as uplift will give tension in spring even though compression only spring has been assigned. I guess, compression only spring will be activated if we run non linear analysis. I would like to request to verify the result of base pressure for uplift load case once.

Thank you for the detailed video. Why did you include the central columns load when you calculated the UDL for strap beam design? The central column's load is transferred to the footing directly as there is no eccentricity, right? Could you please explain? Thanks again!
